  • Preferred unripe green papaya due to higher papain content, but must do a patch test before using it for the first time.

4. Sensitive Skin Types

  • We should avoid the green unripe papaya as it has a higher concentration of latex and papain.
  • It could increase the chances of allergy and irritation.
  • In this case, I highly recommend the patch test.
